Outline Planning Applications
We bring a thoughtful and creative approach to the masterplanning of larger schemes likely to form the basis of Outline Applications. We visit and thoroughly explore site and context. We photograph and identify on plan any features that are significant or distinctive; and we include these findings within the eventual submission.
Within Design & Access Statements we use a combination of sketching, CAD planning and 3D modelling to illustrate the thinking behind our proposal.
We believe that the task of an Outline scheme is to give a firm but realistic steer on the design approach to be taken by subsequent RMAs in terms of character and multi-modal movement.
This should be attractive, influenced by local character and allow flexibility for interpretation by whichever developer takes the site on.
